Synageva BioPharma is a biopharmaceutical company that was formed to deliver orphan treatments for patients with rare diseases. Our lead program, sebelipase alfa (SBC-102), an enzyme replacement therapy for Lysosomal Acid Lipase (LAL) Deficiency, is in clinical development and has been granted orphan designation by FDA and EMA. LAL Deficiency, a lysosomal storage disorder, is a serious and life threatening disease. Synageva has four additional orphan products in development.
